Barnyard is responsible for parsing the Snort log files and putting data into the database. Without that, you will see no data in anything trying to reference the database, including Snorby.

Basically, you need it!

Are there any additional steps you can think of that you need to get reports up and working. After adding the commands you listed it said it configured a cron job but nothing is listed under reports. Do i need to run the cron job?]]></description>
